Positive: We recently spent three nights at Rumah Tengah Sawah, approx 40min from Ubud. From the moment we booked, the owner Ayu went above and beyond to ensure our comfort—especially as I was recovering from a fractured leg. Ayu thoughtfully arranged airport transport and coordinated with our driver to drop us directly at the villa, avoiding the narrow farm road that leads to the villas. The hospitality throughout our stay was exceptional. Ayu and her team were always available and incredibly attentive. When I fell ill on the first night, Ayu kindly had her staff prepare a soothing ginger and honey tea and even offered to arrange a doctor’s visit, a thoughtful act of kindness. The accommodation was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. There’s a well-stocked and clean local shop—Toko Kartika Jaya—nearby for essentials. We also indulged in the 60-minute Spirulina Facial and 120-minute Massage with Warm Stones, both of which were incredibly relaxing and highly recommended.

Negative: The location is remote. Sekar 1 Villa is closer to the main road and Warung Semana, a local restaurant, making it a lot noisier at night and during the day with constant traffic.
