Summary: We arrived early in the day so went driving to explore the area. Front desk staff called us to say the room was ready if we wanted to check in early. Very convenient location for walking to everything plus the beach. Large fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee maker (but no coffee cups or mugs). Unfortunately, we were unaware that the Pier closed on Labor Day. We had hoped to experience that area again as we honeymooned here at Old Orchard 52 years ago. But the friendly people, shopping, and restaurants were terrific.
