Summary: This was our sixth stay at the hotel, and it is always a real pleasure to come back. The welcome is impeccable: warm, attentive, and highly professional. The villas have lost none of their charm and remain exceptionally comfortable. Their private patio and small pool create an intimate and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. We chose the half-board option, and both the breakfasts and dinners were excellent. A special mention goes to the beef rendang, which was absolutely delicious 😋. The only downside compared with our previous stays is the new beach club, which is now located on the other side of the bay, more than a 20-minute walk away. A shuttle service is available, but unfortunately it does not run frequently enough. The main issue, however, is that swimming is not really enjoyable on this part of the beach. At low tide, the sea gives way to a large muddy area, while at high tide, the currents unfortunately bring in quite a lot of debris. Although the beach club offers restrooms and food service, it does not truly fulfill its primary purpose. That being said, Amarterra remains without a doubt one of the best — if not the very best — hotel in Nusa Dua.
