You're right off NE 28th Avenue - one of Portland's best restaurant rows - with Laurelhurst Park and its tree-lined residential streets just a few blocks south. It's a neighborhood where you can walk to a James Beard-worthy dinner, grab world-class tortas, and explore the neighborhood at your own pace.
Laurelhurst Market is the anchor - a steakhouse and in-house butcher shop that's been a longtime Portland favorite since 2009. Go for dinner (the butcher-cut steaks are outstanding) or stop by the counter during the day for house-cured sandwiches and charcuterie. Güero is our favorite torta spot in the city - try the carnitas torta or their hamburguesa. Montelupo is a proper Italian market and restaurant with Italian pasta and provisions.
